Products
Products available through this website may include digital crochet patterns, gift cards, books, colouring products, crochet kits, apparel, gifts and other creative goods.
Not all of these products are available at all times. Products and offerings may change as It’s a Long Dog World grows.
At launch, products available directly through this website include digital crochet patterns and gift cards. Links to books and other products sold through third-party retailers may also appear on the website.
Product photographs are intended to represent products as accurately as possible. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device.
Prices
Prices are displayed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to change prices or discontinue products at any time. Changes will not affect purchases that have already been completed and accepted.

DIGITAL PATTERNS & DOWNLOADS
Crochet patterns purchased directly from It’s a Long Dog World are delivered digitally.
After completing your purchase, you will be provided with access to download your pattern.
Please save your purchased pattern somewhere secure for your personal use.
Pattern Licences
When you purchase a crochet pattern, you are purchasing a licence to use the instructions to make the finished project.
You are not purchasing the copyright or ownership of the pattern itself.
You may:
download and keep your purchased pattern
print a copy for your own use
make finished items from the pattern
give finished crocheted items as gifts
sell finished items you personally make from the pattern, unless a particular pattern states otherwise
You may not:
share the digital file with another person
upload the pattern to a website, Facebook group, file-sharing service or other platform
email or distribute copies of the pattern
sell or give away copies of the pattern
reproduce the pattern in another format for distribution
translate and distribute the pattern
copy our photographs, illustrations or instructions
claim the pattern or design as your own
If someone would like a pattern, please send them to It’s a Long Dog World rather than sharing your copy.
Finished Items
We are happy for you to sell finished crocheted items made from our patterns, subject to any specific restrictions stated on the individual pattern.
We appreciate credit such as:
“Made from an It’s a Long Dog World pattern.”
You do not need our permission to sell the finished item simply because you used one of our patterns.
However, selling a finished item does not give you permission to reproduce, sell or distribute the pattern.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Digital Products
Because digital patterns are delivered electronically and may be accessed immediately after purchase, digital pattern purchases are generally non-refundable once the pattern has been delivered or accessed.
We do, however, want to make sure you receive what you paid for.
If:
your download doesn't work,
you receive the wrong pattern,
you accidentally purchase the same pattern more than once, or
there is a genuine problem with the digital file,
please contact us at fatladycrochet@gmail.com.
We'll work with you to resolve the problem and, where appropriate, provide a replacement file, correction or refund.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Physical Products
Physical products are not currently sold directly through this website.
When physical products become available, this section will be updated with the applicable return and cancellation terms.
At this time, we do not accept returns simply because a customer has changed their mind.
If a physical product arrives damaged, defective or incorrect once physical products are available, please contact us so that we can determine an appropriate solution.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests before an order has been processed or delivered.
Digital products may be delivered immediately after purchase and therefore may not be cancellable once delivery or access has occurred, subject to applicable consumer rights.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
At present, products purchased directly through this website are digital products or gift cards, so there is currently no physical-product shipping.
When physical products become available, we expect to offer shipping to many destinations internationally, with the United States currently excluded.
Shipping destinations, costs, processing times and delivery information will be clearly provided on applicable product pages and/or at checkout.
International customers will be responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by their destination country, where applicable.
Shipping policies may be updated when physical products are introduced.

Buying a pattern gives you permission to use the instructions to create your own finished project. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying copyright or intellectual property.
