Products

Products available through this website may include digital crochet patterns, gift cards and other creative goods. We may also feature books and products available through third-party retailers.

DIGITAL PATTERNS & DOWNLOADS

Crochet patterns purchased directly from It’s a Long Dog World are delivered digitally.

After completing your purchase, you will be provided with access to download your pattern.

Please save your purchased pattern somewhere secure for your personal use.

Pattern Licences

When you purchase a crochet pattern, you are purchasing a licence to use the instructions to make the finished project.

You are not purchasing the copyright or ownership of the pattern itself.

You may:

• Download and keep your purchased pattern.

• Print a copy for your own use.

• Make finished items from the pattern.

• Give finished crocheted items as gifts.

• Sell finished items you personally make from the pattern, unless a particular pattern states otherwise.

You may not:

• Share the digital file with another person.

• Upload the pattern to a website, Facebook group, file-sharing service or other platform.

• Email or distribute copies of the pattern.

• Sell or give away copies of the pattern.

• Reproduce the pattern in another format for distribution.

• Translate and distribute the pattern.

• Copy our photographs, illustrations or instructions.

• Claim the pattern or design as your own.

If someone would like a pattern, please send them to It’s a Long Dog World rather than sharing your copy.

Finished Items

We are happy for you to sell finished crocheted items made from our patterns, subject to any specific restrictions stated on the individual pattern.

Selling a finished item does not give you permission to reproduce, sell or distribute the pattern itself.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Digital Products

Because digital patterns are delivered electronically and may be accessed immediately after purchase, digital pattern purchases are generally non-refundable once the pattern has been delivered or accessed, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

We do, however, want to make sure you receive what you paid for.

If your download doesn't work, you receive the wrong pattern, you accidentally purchase the same pattern more than once, or there is a genuine problem with the digital file, please contact us at fatladycrochet@gmail.com.

We'll work with you to resolve the problem and, where appropriate, provide a replacement file, correction or refund.

Made-to-Order Products

Some physical products, including printed apparel and accessories, are made especially for you after you place your order. These items are produced through our print-on-demand production partner rather than kept as ready-to-ship stock.

Because each item is made to order, we generally cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because you changed your mind, selected the wrong size or colour, or ordered the wrong product.

Please review the product description, available options and size chart carefully before placing your order.

If your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us at fatladycrochet@gmail.com with your order details and clear photographs of the issue. We'll work with you and our production partner to investigate and arrange an appropriate solution.

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after receiving your order.

This policy does not limit any rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer protection laws.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests before an order has entered production or processing. Once a made-to-order product has entered production, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Digital products may be delivered immediately after purchase and may not be cancellable once delivery or access has occurred, subject to applicable consumer rights.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Digital products and gift cards delivered electronically do not require physical shipping.

Physical products made to order require production time before they are shipped. Production and delivery times vary depending on the product, destination, season and shipping method.

Any estimated production or delivery dates provided on product pages or at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to production demand, shipping carriers, weather, customs or other circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping destinations, costs and available delivery methods will be shown on applicable product pages or at checkout.

At this time, the United States is excluded from our direct physical-product shipping destinations. Available destinations may change, so please check the shipping information provided at checkout before ordering.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by their destination country, where applicable, unless otherwise stated.

Once an order has shipped, delivery is handled by the shipping carrier. If your order is delayed, appears lost or arrives damaged, please contact us so we can help determine the next steps.

Buying a pattern gives you permission to use the instructions to create your own finished project. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying copyright or intellectual property.

Please do not copy or redistribute our patterns, upload them to file-sharing sites or social-media groups, sell or give away copies, translate and distribute them without permission, copy our original photographs or artwork, claim our designs as your own, or reproduce Long Dog and other It’s a Long Dog World characters for commercial purposes without written permission.
